As the president of a nonprofit soccer organization, Dave Lowen spends a lot of time thinking about how to best serve his community.
“It’s not just about developing athletes,” he says. “It’s about developing people.”
That means providing opportunities for all, whether it’s through free clinics and camps or scholarships for those who couldn’t otherwise afford to play.
“Soccer has the power to change lives,” he says. “I’ve seen it happen time and time again.”
And that’s what motivates Dave to continue doing what he does, day in and day out.
“When I see the impact we’re having on our community, it makes all the hard work worth it.”
